Raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent, this 100 µl antibody targets G3BP1 (Ras-GTPase-activating protein SH3 domain-binding protein 1), an RNA-binding protein widely used as a stress granule marker in cell biology and as a subject of study in cancer, innate immunity, and viral replication research.

Validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows, the reagent was raised against conserved epitopes that allow detection of endogenous G3BP1 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The polyclonal format is well suited to applications where signal amplification from multiple epitope recognition is beneficial, including visualization of cytoplasmic stress granules induced by stressors such as sodium arsenite or hippuristanol in cell culture.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol; store at -20 °C to preserve activity and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The vial format with cryoprotectant allows convenient aliquoting into smaller working volumes. Researchers commonly pair this reagent with complementary granule markers such as TIA-1, TIAR, or PABP to characterize stress granule assembly and disassembly dynamics in fixed cells and tissue sections.
