Anti-FYN (phospho S21) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Fyn phosphorylated at Ser21, supplied as an unconjugated IgG preparation validated for Western blot (WB) on human samples. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around S21 of human Phospho-Fyn-S21 (NP_002028.1), with the immunogen sequence DGSLN, and the target protein has a molecular weight of 60 kDa.

The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. The recommended WB dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000.

Validation data show Western blot analysis of A-431 cell extracts using the antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution, with HL-60 cells treated by 10% FBS after overnight serum-starvation. The secondary antibody used was Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:10,000, with lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane and 3% BSA used as blocking buffer. This product is intended for research use only.
