The Antibodies.com anti-FXYD1 polyclonal reagent is a rabbit-host IgG preparation raised against FXYD domain-containing ion transport regulator 1, also known as phospholemman (PLM). This unconjugated primary antibody is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, giving researchers a tool to detect the endogenous 92-amino-acid cardiac and skeletal muscle phosphoprotein in human and mouse samples. The 100 µl liquid polyclonal antiserum is well matched to probing membrane-enriched fractions, where phospholemman associates with Na+/K+-ATPase α and β subunits and modulates pump activity in response to PKA and PKC phosphorylation. Recommended uses include WB under standard reducing conditions and IHC on fixed tissue sections, where the antibody can help resolve phosphorylation-state-dependent mobility shifts tied to cardiac excitation-contraction coupling, ischemia-reperfusion studies, and skeletal muscle physiology investigations. Researchers working on cardiac contractility regulation, Na+/K+-ATPase modulation, or FXYD family biology can pair this reagent with phospho-specific antibodies to interrogate signaling events at the Ser63, Ser68, and Thr69 residues of the PLM tail. Storage at -20°C in working aliquots is recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity across repeated use of the supplied vial.
