Anti-FXR2 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the RNA-binding protein FXR2 — also known as FMR1 autosomal homolog 2, FMR1L2, or FXR2P — and is supplied at 50 µl with a stated concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and belongs to the IgG class; it is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.4 (150 mM NaCl, without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) supplemented with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and it cross-reacts with both human and mouse samples, detecting endogenous levels of total FXR2 protein. The immunogen used for immunization is a synthetic peptide derived from an internal region of human FXR2, and the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
