This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes FUNDC1 (FUN14 Domain Containing 1), a mitochondrial outer-membrane protein that functions as a receptor for hypoxia-induced mitophagy by binding LC3 on the phagophore membrane. Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate-buffered saline containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, the reagent is unconjugated and validated for Western blot detection of endogenous FUNDC1 in human, mouse, and rat samples. Investigators working on mitochondrial quality control, cardiac ischemia-reperfusion protection, tumor hypoxia responses, and neurodegenerative disease apply this antibody to monitor phosphorylation-dependent regulation of FUNDC1, including the well-characterized Tyr18 phospho-switch that governs receptor activation during cellular stress. Aliquot upon receipt and store refrigerated to preserve activity, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles that can reduce titer.
