Ferritin heavy chain (FTH1) is the catalytically active subunit of ferritin, the cytosolic iron-storage complex that oxidizes ferrous iron and sequesters it within a mineralized ferrihydrite core. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against FTH1 and supports western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples, making it useful for studies of iron homeostasis, ferroptosis regulation, oxidative-stress responses, hepatocellular iron loading, and tumor biology in breast and liver cancer models. Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody; store at 4 °C in single-use aliquots to preserve performance across repeat experiments.
