Anti-FST Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against Follistatin (FST) and validated for Western blot (WB) applications. It is unconjugated, of IgG isotype, and reacts with human samples; the Antibodies.com product listing additionally lists reactivity with mouse and rat, while the manufacturer data specifies human and rat. The reagent is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography.

Immunisation used a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 300–400 of human FST (UniProt accession P19883), with the reported immunogen peptide AACSSGVLLEVKHSGSCNSISEDTEEEEEDEDQDYSFPISSILEW. The target protein has a stated molecular weight of 38 kDa. For Western blotting, a recommended dilution range of 1:100–1:500 is given. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is provided as lot specific.
