A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the Follicle-Stimulating Hormone Receptor (FSHR), supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated, ready-to-use reagent for reproductive-biology research. FSHR is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed primarily on ovarian granulosa cells and testicular Sertoli cells, where it transduces FSH-driven cAMP signaling that governs gametogenesis, follicular maturation, and gonadal steroidogenesis. Aberrations in FSHR signaling are implicated in primary ovarian insufficiency, infertility, and granulosa cell tumors, making this reagent a useful tool for reproductive endocrinology and reproductive-system oncology studies.

The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows and has been reactivity-tested on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species comparative work in tissue lysates and fixed sections. Supplied at 100 µl with a 1 mg/ml stock concentration in a PBS buffer containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the formulation resists freeze-thaw damage; aliquot on first use and refrigerate for working stocks. The glycerol-supplemented buffer also tolerates frozen storage conditions for long-term archival.

Host species is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, and the conjugate is unconjugated, providing flexibility for downstream labeling with HRP, biotin, or user-selected fluorophores in either chromogenic or fluorescence detection systems. The unconjugated format pairs with secondary antibodies from any compatible host species, supporting immunohistochemistry and Western blot pipelines in reproductive-tissue research. Investigators working on granulosa cell markers, Sertoli cell markers, gonadotropin-receptor signaling, ovarian reserve studies, or testicular function assays will find this antibody applicable across tissue-lysate and fixed-section workflows. For research use only.
