Anti-FSHR Antibody

This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), a G protein-coupled receptor essential for gonadal signaling in mammals. Raised in rabbit and supplied as an IgG preparation, the antibody is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows against human, mouse, and rat samples.

FSHR is expressed in ovarian granulosa cells and testicular Sertoli cells, where it mediates pituitary FSH-driven steroidogenesis, follicle maturation, and spermatogenesis. Investigators working on reproductive endocrinology, ovarian reserve, PCOS models, gonadal development, or gonadotropin pharmacology use anti-FSHR antibodies to chart receptor distribution in fixed tissue sections, follow protein expression in lysates, and visualize subcellular receptor localization in cultured cells.
