The FSHB protein is the beta subunit of follicle-stimulating hormone, a gonadotropin secreted by anterior pituitary gonadotrophs that drives ovarian follicle maturation and testicular Sertoli cell function. Produced by Antibodies.com as a rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent, it is raised against the FSHB target and validated for Western Blot detection in human, mouse, and rat sample lysates. Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antibody, it integrates directly into standard SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting workflows for pituitary, ovarian, and testicular tissue research, and is compatible with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescent readout. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on the FSHB subunit, which can be advantageous when probing denatured target on western blots.
