Raised in rabbit against the Frizzled-6 receptor, this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes a region spanning the threonine 167 (T167) residue of the human protein. Frizzled-6 is a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor that mediates Wnt signaling cascades, with documented roles in planar cell polarity, neural tube closure, and certain oncogenic pathways including Wnt/β-catenin-driven cancers.
The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, approx. pH 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as preservative. It has been validated for Western blot, immunocytochemistry, and immunoprecipitation workflows, and it cross-reacts with Frizzled-6 from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting comparative studies across mammalian model systems.
Store refrigerated at 4°C in the original vial; aliquot upon first thaw to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light to preserve antibody activity across long-term use. Optimal working dilutions should be determined empirically for each application and sample type.
