Anti-Fra-2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the Fos-related antigen 2 (FOSL2 / Fra-2) transcription factor and is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The antibody is supplied as an affinity-purified IgG fraction at approximately 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) without Mg²⁺/Ca²⁺ and supplemented with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol; the unconjugated preparation is recommended for use with anti-rabbit secondary detection systems. It cross-reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, detects endogenous levels of total Fra-2 protein, and was generated against a synthetic peptide derived from the human Fra-2 sequence, making it well suited to studies of AP-1 complex signalling, bone biology and oncogenic transcription programmes in which FOSL2 has been implicated. The antibody is shipped on wet ice at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C upon receipt; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided to preserve activity, and the reagent is intended for research use only.
