The FPRL1 receptor, also known as FPR2 or ALX, is a seven-transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor expressed on neutrophils, monocytes, and certain epithelial populations, where it transduces signals from structurally distinct ligands including lipoxin A4, annexin A1, serum amyloid A, and formylated bacterial peptides. Because this single receptor sits at the interface of pro-inflammatory leukocyte chemotaxis and active resolution of inflammation, it is a frequent target in studies of host defense, chronic inflammatory disease, wound healing, and cancer cell migration.

The C4F9 clone is a mouse IgG1 monoclonal raised against human FPRL1, supplied by Antibodies.com as 100 µg of lyophilised antibody in a single vial and unconjugated, leaving secondary reagent choice entirely to the end user. The reagent is validated for ELISA and Western blot workflows against human samples and cell lysates, and reactivity has been confirmed on human target only.

For Western blot, primary incubation is commonly run overnight at 4 °C with the antibody diluted in blocking buffer; for ELISA, coating or capture configurations are defined by the user because the product is unconjugated. After reconstitution in sterile buffer, refrigerate the working aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to maintain binding activity over the shelf life of the preparation.
