The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes an epitope within the I203 region of human FPR1 (Formyl Peptide Receptor 1), a G protein-coupled chemoattractant receptor best known for directing neutrophil migration toward N-formylmethionyl signals of bacterial or mitochondrial origin. Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified, the reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as 100 µl per vial for use in Western blot workflows.

Validated reactivity spans human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational studies of innate immune cell trafficking, acute inflammation, and host-pathogen responses. For short-term use, the working stock can be kept refrigerated at 4°C; for extended storage, the glycerol-supplemented formulation is best held frozen in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, which can degrade polyclonal IgG over time. The unconjugated format leaves the antibody open to pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents chosen by the end user, making it a flexible primary reagent for membrane and cytosolic FPR1 detection by western blot.
