Supplied as a 50 µl liquid vial, this unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG from Antibodies.com is affinity-purified against the FOXP3 forkhead-box transcription factor, the lineage-defining marker of CD4+ CD25+ regulatory T cells (Tregs). The reagent is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation workflows on human, mouse, and rat specimens.

FOXP3 governs the suppressive transcriptional program of Tregs, making this antibody a workhorse in studies of immune tolerance, autoimmune disease models, and quantification of tumor-infiltrating Tregs within the tumor microenvironment. Investigators rely on it to detect endogenous FOXP3 protein in thymus and spleen lysates by western blot, to localize nuclear FOXP3+ cells in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections by immunohistochemistry, and to capture native FOXP3-containing complexes for chromatin immunoprecipitation or co-immunoprecipitation experiments.

Because the antibody is supplied unconjugated, the same 50 µl vial pairs with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore-conjugated secondaries chosen by the end user. Aliquot upon arrival and store refrigerated, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles, so a single vial supports multiple western blot membranes or dozens of immunohistochemistry slides across independent experiments. This is a research use only reagent for immunology, cancer biology, and transplantation research from Antibodies.com.
