Anti-FOXO4 (phospho S197) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody from Antibodies.com recognises the FOXO4 transcription factor, also referred to as AFX, when phosphorylated at Serine 197. The reagent is unconjugated and was raised in rabbit against a synthetic phosphorylated peptide corresponding to the S197 region of human FOXO4 (accession NP_005929.2).

Validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence, the antibody reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 65 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB, 1:50–1:100 for IHC, and 1:100–1:200 for ICC/IF.

The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and has been purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
