FoxO4 (Forkhead box O4) is a member of the forkhead transcription factor family that regulates genes controlling oxidative stress responses, apoptosis, and cell cycle progression. Lysine 447 is a conserved residue within the FoxO4 sequence, and antibodies targeting the K447 region are used to detect total or post-translationally modified FoxO4 in cell lysates and tissue samples.
This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against a peptide epitope spanning lysine 447 of human FoxO4 and reacts with both human and rat samples, supporting cross-species studies of FoxO4 signaling. The reagent is unconjugated, allowing flexible labeling or detection workflows. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2.
Validated applications include western blot (WB) and immunofluorescence (IF). The 50 µl vial provides enough material for multiple blot or imaging experiments. The product should be refrigerated upon arrival; protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve activity.
