Raised in rabbit against the human transcription factor FoxO1A, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as a ready-to-use liquid for routine immunology workflows. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region surrounding the non-phosphorylation site at serine 329 of FoxO1A, and the antibody has been validated to detect endogenous levels of the target in human, mouse and rat samples, making it a versatile choice across the most common research species. Host animal is rabbit, clonality is polyclonal, the isotype is IgG, and the antibody is provided unconjugated, so it can be paired with the secondary detection system of your choice. Each vial contains 50 µl of product at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml, formulated in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide as a stabilising preservative. The reagent has been validated in Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, covering qualitative protein detection in cell lysates and fixed tissue as well as quantitative plate-based assays. For short-term transit the vial is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody activity. Intended for research use only, the product is offered under the Antibodies.com Primary Antibodies catalogue for laboratories studying FoxO-family signalling in metabolism, stress responses and gene regulation.
