Anti-FOXO1/O3 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com and distributed through AFMS, this affinity-purified Rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the forkhead box transcription factor FOXO1 and cross-reacts with FOXO3, making it well suited for studies that interrogate the PI3K/AKT signalling axis. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid aliquot at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate Buffered Saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, and is presented in an unconjugated format for downstream flexibility. It is validated specifically for Western Blotting (WB) on endogenous FOXO1 and is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, allowing comparative work across the most common mammalian model systems. Because it is a polyclonal, the reagent recognises multiple epitopes on the target, which can be advantageous when working with post-translationally modified or truncated FOXO1 species. For routine use the antibody should be stored refrigerated at 2–8 °C for short term and aliquoted at −20 °C for longer term storage, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
