Anti-FOXO1/O3 Antibody

The reagent supplied by Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against the forkhead box transcription factors FOXO1 and FOXO3 (also called FOXO3a), two closely related regulators of gene programs for metabolism, cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and the cellular response to oxidative stress.

It is provided as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, and is unconjugated so it can be paired with HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent or fluorescent detection on western blot membranes.

Validated for WB applications, the antibody recognises endogenous FOXO1 and FOXO3 in lysates prepared from human, rat, and mouse samples, supporting cross-species studies in insulin and growth factor signalling, longevity research, and cancer biology where FOXO-dependent transcription is of interest. Brief storage at 2 to 8 degrees C in the supplied PBS buffer is sufficient to maintain antibody activity for routine blotting workflows.
