Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against FoxO1 (also known as FKHR / FOXO1A), a Forkhead box transcription factor implicated in insulin signaling, oxidative stress responses and cell-cycle control. The antibody is supplied at 50 µl, unconjugated, and is formulated as a 1 mg/mL liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the human FoxO1 sequence flanking the non-phosphorylation site at Ser319, and the reagent was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific affinity chromatography so that it specifically detects endogenous levels of FoxO1 protein. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence / immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) and ELISA, providing flexibility for both lysate-based and tissue-based workflows. Reactivity has been confirmed in Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies in metabolic, cancer and aging research. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve performance. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
