Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified from antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the endogenous forkhead box transcription factor FoxO1. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the human FoxO1 sequence flanking the non-phosphorylation site at serine 319, an epitope also conserved in mouse and rat, which accounts for the antibody's validated cross-reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. Supplied as an unconjugated IgG at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the 50 µl aliquot is recommended for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and ELISA workflows. Researchers should expect a clear, specific signal corresponding to endogenous FoxO1 (also known as FOXO1A, FKHR, or FKH1) across these assay formats. The vial is shipped at 4°C; for long-term stability, aliquot upon receipt and store at -20°C, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. This product is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
