Raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide of human FOXO1, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com detects endogenous FOXO1 protein in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is supplied in a 200 µl vial format and has been validated for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows, where it produces a band near the predicted 78-82 kDa molecular weight of the full-length forkhead-box transcription factor.

Affinity purification from immunogen-consistent sera keeps background low, and the unconjugated format lets researchers pair the reagent with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies depending on the application. Cell biologists commonly deploy it to track AKT-driven phosphorylation readouts indirectly, map cytoplasmic-to-nuclear relocalization after insulin or growth-factor stimulation, and survey FOXO1 output in hepatic, pancreatic beta-cell, adipocyte, and lymphoid tissue models relevant to gluconeogenesis, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and cell-cycle arrest.

Long-term storage at -20°C in working aliquots protects activity across repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and short-term bench use at refrigerated temperatures is acceptable. The reagent is supplied for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or in vivo applications.
