This rabbit polyclonal antibody specifically recognizes FOXM1 (Forkhead box protein M1), a transcription factor that drives cell cycle progression from G1 to S phase and regulates mitotic spindle assembly. Provided by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated reagent at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.3, the antibody is supplied in a 100 µl vial and has been validated for Western blot (WB) detection in human, mouse, and rat sample lysates.

FOXM1 is broadly investigated as a marker of proliferative activity and as a downstream effector in pathways connected to tumor growth, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, and stem cell maintenance, making this reagent useful for researchers studying hepatocellular carcinoma, lung adenocarcinoma, glioblastoma, and other malignancies where FOXM1 overexpression has been reported. The polyclonal format enables recognition of multiple epitopes on the denatured target, supporting robust signal in standard immunoblotting workflows.

For best results, store the vial refrigerated for short-term use, or aliquot and freeze at -20°C for longer-term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and protect from prolonged light exposure. The sodium azide preservative permits safe routine handling, though it should be taken into account for downstream applications where azide may interfere.
