This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes Forkhead box protein M1 (FOXM1), a member of the FOX family of transcription factors that drives expression of mitotic regulators including Cyclin B1, Cdc25B, and Aurora B kinase. FOXM1 controls G1/S and G2/M cell cycle transitions and is frequently overexpressed in proliferating tissues and in many solid tumors, making it a target of interest in cancer biology and cell proliferation studies. The reagent is supplied as 100 µL of a 1 mg/mL stock in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, a formulation that permits storage at -20°C and protects the protein across repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Validated for Western blot (WB), the antibody shows reactivity with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples and is provided unconjugated, allowing flexible pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-labeled secondary reagents. The polyclonal format offers broader epitope coverage than monoclonal alternatives, which is useful when probing full-length FOXM1 isoforms in lysates from hepatocellular carcinoma, glioblastoma, lung adenocarcinoma, and triple-negative breast cancer models where FOXM1 activity is being profiled. Recommended for research use only, the product is intended for studies of cell cycle progression, mitotic checkpoint regulation, DNA damage response, and tumor cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo.
