Raised in rabbit against the connective tissue proteoglycan fibromodulin, this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the small leucine-rich repeat protein responsible for regulating collagen fibril diameter and spacing in tendons, cartilage, skin, cornea, and the intervertebral disc. The 100 µl vial is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready for direct labeling or for use in standard immunodetection workflows.

Validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry, the reagent detects human, mouse, and rat fibromodulin, supporting cross-species studies of extracellular matrix assembly, SLRP family interactions, and remodeling in scar tissue, tendon repair, and fibrotic disease models. For best results, aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C, limiting repeated freeze-thaw cycles beyond typical working-volume use.
