This rabbit polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets FMO3 (flavin-containing monooxygenase 3), a hepatic phase I drug-metabolizing enzyme that is most abundant in adult liver tissue and is responsible for the NADPH-dependent N-oxidation of xenobiotics, therapeutic compounds, and endogenous amines such as trimethylamine.

Validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, the unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit hosts and is reactive against human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational studies that compare FMO3 expression patterns across these species.

Because inherited FMO3 loss-of-function variants cause trimethylaminuria (fish odor syndrome) and influence individual responses to several clinically used drugs, this antibody is frequently cited in hepatic, pharmacogenetic, and metabolic-disorder investigations. For short-term handling, store the vial at 4 °C; for longer shelf life, keep it frozen at -20 °C in small aliquots and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For research use only.
