Anti-FMO3 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against human flavin-containing monooxygenase 3 (FMO3), this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 100 µl volume at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated IgG fraction recognizes FMO3 in western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows, and cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologues, enabling translational studies of hepatic xenobiotic metabolism. FMO3 is an endoplasmic-reticulum-resident, NADPH-dependent enzyme that oxidizes nucleophilic nitrogen, sulfur, and phosphorus atoms in drugs, dietary amines, and environmental chemicals; loss-of-function variants underlie trimethylaminuria and have been linked to altered drug clearance.
