Anti-FLT3 (Ab-591) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets FMS-like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3), a class III receptor tyrosine kinase expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells and frequently mutated in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Activating FLT3-ITD and FLT3-TKD alterations are among the most common oncogenic drivers in AML and remain a major focus of targeted kinase inhibitor research.

The reagent specifically recognizes the phosphorylated Tyr591 epitope of FLT3, an autophosphorylation site within the juxtamembrane region whose modification influences downstream STAT5 signaling. It is supplied as 100 µL of unconjugated polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit, validated for Western blot detection of phospho-FLT3 in cell lysates and for immunofluorescence staining of the receptor in fixed cells.

Typical applications include Western blot and immunofluorescence on human samples such as FLT3-expressing leukemic cell lines and primary AML blasts. The unconjugated format pairs with standard anti-rabbit HRP or fluorophore-labeled secondary reagents.
