Raised in rabbit against the lipid-raft marker Flotillin-1, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of affinity-purified reagent at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Flotillin-1 is a highly conserved membrane-associated scaffolding protein of approximately 47 kDa that partitions into cholesterol-rich microdomains and is routinely used as a marker of lipid rafts in studies of vesicle trafficking, receptor endocytosis, and neuronal membrane organization. The antibody recognizes Flotillin-1 from human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting the most common Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, including detection of the expected ~47 kDa band in brain, adipose, and cultured cell lysates. The unconjugated format leaves the choice of secondary reagent open, allowing this reagent to be paired with custom HRP, fluorophore, or biotin labeling strategies for membrane biology, neuroscience, and cell signaling applications.
