Filamin A (FLNA) is a 280 kDa actin-crosslinking protein encoded on the X chromosome, where it organizes the cortical cytoskeleton, anchors transmembrane receptors and integrins, and supports cell migration, adhesion, and mechanotransduction. Validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF), the antibody detects FLNA in human, mouse, and rat samples. It is used to evaluate filamin abundance in cell and tissue lysates, to map FLNA localization at focal adhesions and the cell cortex, and to study its role in integrin- and Rho-GTPase-coupled signaling.
