Anti-Flk-1 Antibody

Offered under the Antibodies.com brand, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Flk-1. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the human Flk-1 sequence around the non-phosphorylation site of tyrosine 951, and the reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of Flk-1 protein.

The unconjugated polyclonal reagent, of IgG isotype, has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunocytochemistry / immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and ELISA, and reacts with both human and mouse samples. It is supplied at 1 mg/mL as a liquid in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen.

For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided in order to preserve activity.
