A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com directed against Fli-1 (Friend leukemia integration 1), an ETS-family transcription factor with central roles in megakaryopoiesis, platelet biogenesis, and vascular development. Aberrant Fli-1 activity is implicated in Ewing sarcoma and a subset of leukemias, making this reagent useful for research into both normal hematopoiesis and oncogenic signaling pathways.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated immunoglobulin at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the antibody reacts with Fli-1 from human, mouse, and rat samples. It has been validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows, supporting applications such as nuclear localization studies in tissue sections and confirmation of Fli-1 overexpression in tumor cell lines.

The glycerol-containing buffer permits storage at -20°C with minimal freeze-thaw damage, and the sodium azide acts as a microbial preservative for short-term handling. The polyclonal format increases the likelihood of recognizing multiple epitopes on the ETS DNA-binding region, which is helpful when probing for both wild-type Fli-1 and fusion proteins such as EWSR1-FLI1 characteristic of Ewing sarcoma research models.
