A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against the Flag-tag epitope and is supplied as an unconjugated reagent. It is formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2, and is recommended for use in Western blot (WB) applications.

The immunogen is a synthetic Flag-tag peptide, and the antibody specifically recognises recombinant or overexpressed proteins that carry the flag epitope. The reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using the epitope-specific immunogen, and purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Western blot use is supported by 1 scientific validation image, and the reagent is distributed by Bio-Connect.
