Anti-FKHR / FoxO1 (C-terminus) Antibody

This unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody recognizes an epitope within the C-terminal region of the FoxO1 transcription factor encoded by the FKHR gene. FoxO1 integrates insulin, IGF-1, and oxidative-stress cues into downstream programs controlling hepatic gluconeogenesis, adipocyte differentiation, and apoptotic priming; AKT-mediated phosphorylation of FoxO1 drives its nuclear export and inactivation, making steady-state total-protein detection by western blot a routine readout for PI3K/AKT pathway activity in cell culture and tissue lysates.
