FOXO1, also called FKHR, is a forkhead-box transcription factor that integrates insulin, growth factor, and oxidative-stress signals to control genes involved in glucose metabolism, cell-cycle arrest, and apoptosis. Phosphorylation by Akt drives its nuclear export, so detecting endogenous FOXO1 in lysates and tissue sections is a standard read-out for PI3K/AKT-pathway activity in metabolic-disease, oncology, and longevity research. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against FKHR and validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry in human, mouse, and rat specimens, supporting cross-species studies of insulin signaling and tumor biology. Supplied from Antibodies.com as a 100 µl liquid aliquot, the antibody yields enough reagent for routine blotting and staining workflows, and small working aliquots can be stored frozen to preserve activity across repeat experiments.
