FKBP14 is an endoplasmic reticulum-resident peptidyl-prolyl isomerase that catalyzes cis-trans isomerization of proline residues and contributes to collagen folding and trafficking. Loss-of-function variants in FKBP14 are linked to a connective tissue disorder with features overlapping Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, making this target relevant for studies in collagen biosynthesis and extracellular matrix biology.
This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against human FKBP14 and validated across western blot, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. The vial contains 100 µl of liquid; refrigerate short term at 4 °C and store working aliquots at -20 °C to limit freeze-thaw loss.
The reagent fits workflows examining prolyl isomerase activity, ER chaperone function, and collagen maturation in cultured cells, tissue sections, and patient-derived samples, supporting cell biology and connective tissue disease research.
