Anti-FIS1 Antibody

The Antibodies.com polyclonal reagent targets FIS1 (Fission 1, Mitochondrial), a tail-anchored outer mitochondrial membrane protein that recruits the DRP1 GTPase to drive organelle scission. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 100 µl per vial, the antibody supports Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

Validated across all three listed species, the polyclonal format tolerates minor epitope variation between homologs. In immunofluorescence the reagent produces a punctate, mitochondrial pattern consistent with FIS1 localization at fission sites, while in Western blot it detects the endogenous protein in cell and tissue lysates.
