Anti-Fibulin-2 (E279) Antibody

Sourced through Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 249–300 of human Fibulin-2 (the E279 epitope), an extracellular matrix glycoprotein of the fibulin family encoded by the FBLN2 gene. The antibody is supplied as50 µl of an unconjugated IgG preparation at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, ~pH 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and it is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to a purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. Validated applications on the supplier datasheet cover Western blotting (recommended dilution 1:500–1:1000) and immunohistochemistry on paraffin sections (1:50–1:200), with reactivity confirmed against human FBLN2 (predicted molecular weight ~126–127 kDa). Recommended handling is short-term storage at 4 °C followed by long-term aliquoting at –20 °C, with avoidance of repeated freeze–thaw cycles, and the product is intended for research use only.
