Anti-Fibrinogen Antibody [KT9]

A rat monoclonal antibody against Fibrinogen, available from Antibodies.com, is identified by the clone designation KT9 and is of the IgG2a isotype [C0, S1]. It is unconjugated and supplied as a liquid [C0, S1]. The formulation consists of Phosphate Buffered Saline containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.09% Sodium Azide, with the IgG purified from culture supernatant via a Protein G column [S1]. The stated concentration is 1 mg/ml [S1]. The immunogen was fibrinogen purified from human blood, containing alpha, beta and gamma chains [S1].

Validated for ELISA and sELISA applications, with reactivity confirmed against human samples [C0, S1]. Recommended working dilutions are 1 µg/ml for ELISA and 5 µg/ml for sELISA [S1]. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles [S1].
