Anti-FH Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this monoclonal reagent is raised in mouse against fumarate hydratase (FH), the mitochondrial enzyme also known as fumarase, and is supplied as an unconjugated, affinity-purified IgG preparation at 1 mg/mL. The 50 µL vial is formulated in PBS at pH 7.4 with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative and 50% glycerol, and should be stored at -20 °C in a freeze state to preserve activity. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with the antibody specifically recognising endogenous FH protein in human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies in metabolism and cancer research where FH loss is implicated in hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell cancer. As a primary antibody intended for research use only, it is not designed for diagnostic or therapeutic applications, and laboratories should aliquot upon first use to minimise freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-containing stock.
