Anti-FH Antibody

This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets Complement Factor H (FH), a key soluble regulator of the complement alternative pathway that prevents uncontrolled amplification of C3b deposition on host cell surfaces. Raised in rabbit against endogenous antigen, the antibody detects Factor H in human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting cross-species studies of complement-mediated innate immunity, C3 glomerulopathy, atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), and age-related macular degeneration research. The product is supplied as a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS buffer containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial ready for immediate dilution into working assay buffers. Validated applications include Western blot for size verification of the approximately 155 kDa glycoprotein and immunohistochemistry for localizing Factor H deposition in tissue sections such as kidney glomeruli, retinal sections, or choroid preparations.
