The FGFR4 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 4) protein is a receptor tyrosine kinase implicated in hepatic metabolism, bile acid signaling, and the progression of hepatocellular carcinoma. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was generated in rabbit and is affinity-purified to detect endogenous FGFR4 in lysates prepared from human, mouse, and rat cell lines and tissues.
Validated for western blot, the antibody is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.2) with 15 mM sodium azide as a preservative. For short-term use, store refrigerated at 4 °C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
The unconjugated format supports chemiluminescent, colorimetric, or fluorescent secondary detection workflows, and the polyclonal nature of the reagent enables recognition of multiple epitopes across the FGFR4 intracellular and extracellular domains. Researchers commonly apply this antibody to investigate FGFR4-driven signaling in metabolic disease models and tumor biology research.
