Anti-FGFR1 (phospho-Y766) Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified to recognize fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 only when phosphorylated on tyrosine 766, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated IgG is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, where it selectively detects the activated receptor driven by phospho-Y766 signalling. Each lot is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to the Q-E-Y(p)-L-D motif around residue 766 of FGFR1, followed by epitope-affinity purification and negative depletion against the non-phosphorylated counterpart. The recommended working range for Western blot is approximately 1:500–1:1000 and for immunohistochemistry 1:50–1:100, and the expected molecular weight of the detected band is around 91 kDa. Store the antibody refrigerated at 2–8 °C for short-term use or aliquot and keep at –20 °C for longer periods, avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles to preserve activity.
