Anti-FGF23 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23), offered by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated primary antibody. The reagent is of the IgG isotype and is validated by the manufacturer for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). It has been raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 25–251 of human FGF23 (NCBI reference NP_065689.1), and shows reactivity with Human and Mouse samples, with Rat reactivity additionally listed in the manufacturer's specification.

The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 28 kDa. Recommended working dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The antibody is supplied as a liquid in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal; concentration is lot specific. It has been affinity purified and is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
