Anti-FGF2 Antibody [KT49]

From Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody recognises FGF2 and is supplied as an unconjugated liquid preparation. The clone, designated KT49, is of the IgG1 isotype and was raised using recombinant human bFGF as the immunogen. The reagent is validated for ELISA use and is reactive with Human samples, with the manufacturer reporting antigen sequence identity of 97% with Mouse and Rat, 99% with Pig, and 100% with Cynomolgus monkey orthologs.

IgG is purified through a Protein A column, and the antibody is provided at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. The formulation comprises Phosphate Buffered Saline with 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.09% Sodium Azide. The recommended working dilution for ELISA is 1 µg/ml. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon delivery, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
