Anti-FGF-8 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as part of their catalog of primary antibodies, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and specifically targets endogenous levels of FGF-8 protein, a member of the fibroblast growth factor family also known as AIGF, androgen-induced growth factor, HBGF-8, or heparin-binding growth factor 8. The immunogen is a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human FGF-8, and the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen. It is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is presented unconjugated to give researchers flexibility in downstream assay design. The host species is rabbit with polyclonal clonality and IgG isotype, and the reagent has been validated for Western Blot (WB) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse, and rat samples.
