Anti-FGB Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Fibrinogen beta chain (FGB). The unconjugated IgG reagent is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. The target has a reported molecular weight of 56 kDa, and the antibody is purified by affinity purification.

Applications validated across the sources include Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with one source additionally listing immunohistochemistry (IHC). Recommended dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:200. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 111–222 of human FGB (NP_005132.2). The product is shipped at 4°C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. Concentration is reported as lot specific.
