Raised in rabbit against FERMT3 (also known as Kindlin-3, URP2, or MIG2-like), this unconjugated IgG polyclonal antibody is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 50 µl aliquot in liquid format, intended for Western blot and immunofluorescence workflows. FERMT3 is a 75 kDa FERM-domain cytoplasmic protein expressed predominantly in hematopoietic lineages, where it cooperates with talin to activate β1, β2, and β3 integrins and is essential for leukocyte adhesion, platelet aggregation, and bone-resorbing osteoclast function. Loss-of-function mutations in the FERMT3 gene cause Leukocyte Adhesion Deficiency type III (LAD-III), a rare immunodeficiency with combined platelet and granulocyte defects.

The reagent detects human, mouse, and rat FERMT3, supporting cross-species studies of integrin signaling, neutrophil transmigration, thrombopoiesis, and osteoclastogenesis. Typical applications include Western blot of whole-cell lysates from hematopoietic cell lines such as Jurkat, THP-1, or HL-60, and immunofluorescence on cultured peripheral blood mononuclear cells, bone marrow-derived macrophages, or snap-frozen tissue sections. For storage, aliquot upon receipt and keep refrigerated; protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.

Provided unconjugated so it can be paired with the lab's preferred HRP or fluorophore label, this reagent from Antibodies.com serves researchers investigating the kindlin family in immune cell adhesion, cytoskeletal remodeling, and rare adhesion-deficiency disorders.
