Anti-FER1L5 Antibody

Antibodies.com supplies a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against FER1L5 (Fer-1-like family member 5), a predicted membrane protein mapped to chromosome 2. The reagent is provided as an unconjugated IgG in liquid form, raised in rabbit using a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1350–1670 of the human FER1L5 sequence (NP_001280012.1). The target has a predicted molecular weight of 242 kDa.

Validated applications include Western blot, where the antibody is recommended at dilutions between 1:500 and 1:2,000, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence at 1:50 to 1:200. The antibody reacts with mouse and rat samples. It is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal.

The product is shipped at 4 °C; on receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles. Concentration is lot-specific.
